Thrilmere/Lake District/Cumbria

Once again it’s best to stay mobile on this lake.  You have to hunt for the fish.  Thirlmere is primarily known for its perch and trout but you might, just might, encounter the odd pike or char.  Again, this suggests lure fishing would be the most effective and using the fan method. (Think of yourself as the fan handle on the bank and start casting to your immediate left and then slowly work around until your final cast on your immediate right.  Probably about ten casts in each fan).
