Windermere/Lake District/Cumbria

The best fishing in the magnificent, brooding Lake Windermere is for pike, perch and bream.  However, you can, if you fish long enough, run into any of the following too; salmon, sea trout, eels, char, carp, tench and trout.  You can fish for pike and perch year round but it’s not for lazy anglers, you’ll need to explore.  The best places are normally drop off points where the water suddenly deepens. Many car parks scattered all around Lake Windermere.
