MELDON RESERVOIR, OKEHAMPRON, DEVON EX20 4LU

Located in the magnificent Dartmoor National Park and blessed with striking views over the Okemont Valley.  You can only fish from the bank for free but, don’t worry, it’s perfectly possible to catch the lovely wild brown trout.  The best time of day will be in the early morning, or at, and around, dusk.  This is when these wild fish start to lose some of their caution while they feed.  You can fish how you like; bait, fly or spin - although barbless hooks are preferred.
